Exhibiting at the NRC Rehabilitation Technologies Conference 2024
Events
Summit Medical and Scientific are delighted to join the NRC Rehabilitation Technologies Conference 2024 as exhibitors, showcasing the latest technology in neurorehabilitation in the exhibition area.
Taking place at Nottingham University from the 17th – 18th September 2024, this conference focuses on exploring the latest advancements in rehabilitation technologies.
Find us in the exhibition area where we will be representing our clinical solutions partners Hocoma, Motek, Life Science Robotics and ddrobotec®.
About Hocoma
Our devices from Hocoma include:
– The Andago free-moving overground robotic body weight support system.
– The 3-device Armeo Therapy Concept for upper limb rehabilitation.
– The Erigo robotic tilt-table for early verticalisation, with cyclic leg movement and FES therapy.
– The Lokomat for intensive early robotic-assisted gait training.
About Motek
Our devices from Motek include:
– The CAREN (Computer Assisted Rehabilitation Environment), a versatile, multi-sensory system for clinical gait and balance training.
– The C-Mill treadmill for the evaluation and training of impaired gait and balance using virtual reality, augmented reality and force plate technology.
– The HERO Solution for complete functional rehabilitation after long-term immobilisation such as COVID-19.
– The GRAIL (Gait Realtime Analysis Interactive Lab) for gait analysis and training in challenging conditions.
– The next generation RYSEN 3D body weight support system, assisting patients in an unrestricted, all-directional, assist as-needed capacity.
About Life Science Robotics
ROBERT® by Life Science Robotics uniquely mobilises patients as early as possible, facilitating intensive upper and lower limb rehabilitation either in-bed or seated with just one device. Its unique 7 degrees of freedom allows therapists to first define the movement using the device, including Activities of Daily Living or Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation.
The ROBERT® then repeats the intensive therapy, offering different levels of resistance and support based on the patient’s ability.
Even severely impaired patients can be mobilised using ROBERT®, supporting a patient’s rehabilitation as soon as possible after their admission to hospital. Getting patients moving early and intensively is an important step towards optimal recovery and facilitating neuroplasticity.
About ddrobotec®
ddrobotec® is an innovative system for health and performance that combines smart resistance training, precision diagnostics and digital gaming. ddrobotec® tracks and analyses the interaction between the central and peripheral nervous system with the lower extremities in real time.
The robotic system offers smart data analytics with real-time performance tracking and measurement of cognitive, sensorimotor and physical performance of the brain, nerves and legs.
ddrobotec® is more than just a leg press. ddrobotec® is smart health technology for rehabilitation, fitness, longevity, employee health, and geriatric and paediatric users.
