AMTI have unveiled the latest development in force measurement technology and their most advanced force plate system to date: Epsilon.

Epsilon combines AMTI’s trusted and highest-accuracy Optima 2.0 calibration technology with internal electronics and Power over Ethernet (PoE) advanced connectivity.

The result is an industry-leading force plate system that is powerful, flexible, easier to install, easier to scale, and ready for the demands of modern biomechanics research.

Epsilon’s  Power over Ethernet (PoE)  architecture allows both power and digital data to be delivered through a single standard Ethernet (CAT) cable. This modern connectivity solution provides robust, high-speed digital communication and precise synchronisation across large-scale installations, all while reducing cable management, supporting longer cable runs, and simplifying installation.

Every force plate system featuring Optima technology undergoes an extensive calibration and verification process across the entire force plate surface to ensure outstanding accuracy, repeatability, and performance.

Epsilon advances this foundation with Optima 2.0, the next evolution of AMTI’s patented Optima calibration technology, combined with internal electronics and Power over Ethernet (PoE) connectivity. Together, these advancements deliver the highest accuracy at even faster speeds than previous generations of AMTI force plates.
