Summit Medical and Scientific partners with Sprintex and Reha Stim
News
We are delighted to announce our new partnership with Sprintex and Reha Stim, two leading developers of innovative slat-belt treadmill technology.
Sprintex was founded in 1994, developing their iconic slat-belt treadmills in Germany which provide a true near-natural running experience that the average conveyor-belt treadmill lacks. In 2025, Sprintex merged with Reha-Stim Medtec GmbH to offer their Callis range of treadmills under the Reha Stim clinical rehabilitation brand.
Through partnering with Reha Stim, we are proud to offer the Callis Therapie PRO, Callis Trac 60 PRO, and Callis Ortho PRO range of medical treadmills. Additionally, we are proud to offer the Z30, Z50 and Z70 range of fitness and motion analysis treadmills through our partnership with Sprintex.
Sara Brammall, Managing Director at Summit Medical and Scientific, said:
“We are excited to introduce six new high-performance treadmills for gait training, research and rehabilitation. This innovative slat-belt technology offers something completely unique, encouraging natural propulsion whilst increasing normal ground reaction forces. Get in touch with us today to discuss your next project.”
Dr. Waldemar Rauch, CEO at Reha-Stim Medtec GmbH, said:
“Partnering with Summit Medical and Scientific marks an exciting step forward for both our medical and fitness treadmills. Together, we can expand access to our innovative slat-belt technology for fitness applications and strengthen support for clinicians, researchers and patients across the UK.”
Introducing the Z30, Z50 and Z70 treadmills

The Z30 is the entry-level slat-belt treadmill for those who want a robust and compact slat-belt treadmill without all the additional functionalities. With a large 17” display, wide but shorter (60cm x 137cm) running surface and 22 km/h max speed, the Z30 is ideal for home gyms or when space is limited. Read more.
The Z50 is the mid-range slat-belt treadmill for those who want an advanced everyday treadmill with extras including multigrip, a large display, and basic biofeedback features. With a large 17” display, various running surface sizes and a built-in 0-20% incline, the Z50 best suits gyms and high-end home studios. Read more.

The Z70 is the premium slat-belt treadmill for those who want the most advanced slat-belt treadmill, including virtual runs, multigrip resistance training, a large display, and basic biofeedback features. The Z70 best suits gyms and high-end home studios. Read more.
All Sprintex treadmills can be customised with various modular features including inclination, reverse running direction and chest straps, with the more advanced modules offering wider running surfaces, sled resistance training modes, increased weight capacity and more.
Introducing the Callis range of treadmills
With a modular design and a wide range of adjustable parameters, these medical treadmills can be tailored to meet the unique therapeutic needs of any patient in a safe and controlled environment. All Callis treadmills feature a low-impact, shock-absorbing slat belt, providing a smooth, near-frictionless surface and ensuring maximum comfort for sensitive patients. All treadmills are MDR Certified and FDA Registered.

The Callis Therapie PRO has been designed for precision and adaptability, enabling gait rehabilitation for a wide range of patients. The Callis Therapie PRO provides the perfect walking environment for ambulatory rehabilitation patients who require a zero start speed, with increments of 0.1mph. As standard, this treadmill comes with a 17” intuitive touch display that allows the therapist to configure the treadmill to specific patient needs. Data can also be transferred via serial data interface to external devices. Optional extras include fully adjustable handrails including paediatrics, overhead fall prevention and various running surface widths. Read more.

The Callis Trac 60 PRO is a rehabilitation treadmill which has been designed specifically for heavily impaired, non-ambulatory patients. Offloading patient body weight offers an earlier gait rehabilitation in a safer environment. Two-point dynamic suspension allows for natural pelvic rotation associated with gait while helping to control excessive body rotation. The dynamic suspension system accommodates vertical displacement and associated ground reaction forces allowing natural gait patterns to be practiced, and the overhead support structure is angled to provide unobstructed patient access. Read more.

The Callis Ortho PRO treadmill systems are equipped with integrated sensors and analytics to provide real-time gait analysis. The accuracy and durability of this slat-belt running surface provides an unparalleled gait experience, complete with reverse running mode, open and shortened handrails, downhill mode and remote control options. The Callis Ortho PRO suits every orthopaedic and motion laboratory requirements. Add ons include a 17” intuitive touch display, speed up to 18.5 mph, a wider running surface, fall protection with emergency button, reverse speed up to 6.2 mph, and inclination 0 – 20% or -3 to 22%.
