We were delighted to join Qualisys for their recent 2023 UK User Group Meeting with their life sciences customers.

Our biomechanics partners AMTI, Cometa, Motek and Treadmetrix all integrate with Qualisys motion capture systems, so it was fantastic to hear presentations from customers about their use of motion capture and how it integrates with their other hardware.

Taking place on the 25th and 26th of January at Leeds Beckett University, the user group meeting was packed with insightful talks, live demonstrations and panel discussions.

Keynote speakers included Dr Cleveland Barnett, Nottingham Trent University, who discussed using biomechanics to answer clinical questions and experiences in lower limb prosthetics.

Attendees also heard from keynote speaker Alfie Moxon, Exeter Chiefs Rugby, who spoke about motion capture in a premiership rugby club.

Professor Kiros Karamanidis, London South Bank University, also spoke about musculoskeletal biomechanics: research leading to application in sports and clinical settings.

Thank you to Qualisys for a fantastic meeting!
