On Friday 24th September, tune in at 12:45 – 14:15 CET to hear “Robotics for Clinical Practice“. In this session, Javier Sanchez Aguilar from the European Neuroscience Centre will be speaking about “Combined use of LOKOMAT and RYSEN for gait training in spinal cord injury“.

You can also view a virtual tour of their innovative facilities, including the Lokomat and RYSEN mentioned above plus other rehabilitation technology.

The live session organised by CEN will cover the use of different technologies in the recovery of spinal cord injury patients. It will explore how to complement a dynamic weight support system with other technologies like an exoskeleton or virtual reality and other techniques like strengthening training and task oriented practice. The session will discuss how this approaches are integrated into an intensive therapy protocol designed to maximise patient’s recovery.
