Treadmetrix SEGR Fv1 Electric Leg Press
The Treadmetrix SEGR FV1 is a fully programmable leg press that is the most advanced training and testing system available for lower extremity extension movements.
“SEGR” is the Old Norse word for Victory and was coined by Treadmetrix’s partners at US Ski and Snowboard – who have been using the device since they built their first prototype.
The advanced servo system allows nearly infinite loads to be programmed at precise positions and speeds. Loads can be set to dynamically change from 10 to over 3,000 lb-f in as little as 10ms within 1mm of a specified position. Most leg press machines are limited in their ability to load the athlete or patient as loading profiles are limited in how much load can be changed over a given range of motion. The FV1 makes it possible to dynamically change the loads over the entire range of motion. The result is an ultra-smooth load profile that matches what a person can produce at each position over the range of motion–both concentrically and eccentrically.
The on board instrumentation allows accurate measurement of force, impulse, power and rate of force development (RFD) at user-specified positions and speeds. The FV1 is truly unique in its ability to provide resistance and measure neuromuscular performance.
