“Assessing maximum speed in power and strength-based sports with plantar pressure mapping insoles” is taking place at 06:00 and 13:00 MDT, but if you register you will receive a recording of the webinar in your inbox.
In XSENSOR‘s third webinar in the ‘Running Mechanics‘ series, they will explore how to use plantar pressure mapping, like XSENSOR’s X4 Intelligent Insoles, to measure and assess maximum speed in power and strength-based sports.
About maximum speed
Maximum speed is the highest velocity an athlete can achieve during sprinting. It is related to an athlete’s ability to apply higher levels of force into the ground. Maximum speed abilities rely heavily on neuromuscular efficiency in both vertical and horizontal applications of force.
Using plantar pressure mapping technology allows coaches and biomechanics professionals to test the efficacy of force application into the ground and how the function of the foot/ankle complex can handle, manage, and transmit the force generated by the lower limb muscles.
About the webinar
Learn what maximum speed characteristics are regarding kinetics and kinematics and how they relate to sports performance.
Understand how plantar pressure mapping can assist coaches and biomechanics professionals in evaluating the efficacy of the maximum speed phase in individual and team-based athletes.
Experience using plantar pressure mapping on the field to assess maximum speed through different tests.
Click here to watch live or receive a recording after the event.
About XSENSOR’s X4 Intelligent Insole System
Capture dynamic high resolution, in-the-field lab quality data with XSENSOR’s fully wireless X4 Intelligent Insole System.
The X4 Intelligent Insole System provides the most accurate plantar pressure and gait data available in any test environment.
The X4 system offers ease of use, and assurance of quality test data, for biomechanics and clinical professionals. It offers high-speed recording in compact and discreet on-shoe wireless electronics, enabled by Bluetooth, which are paired with durable high-resolution sensors.
Ultra thin at <2mm. Sensors conform to the footbed of the shoe and are virtually undetectable to the wearer.
Advanced functionality. Complete analysis for research, rehabilitation and performance using XSENSOR’s X4 Pro Foot & Gait software.
Accurate, reliable and repeatable. 3% or less full-scale error after 100,000 loading cycles.
