Perturbation training: Underlying principles and clinical evidence webinar
Motek
Our partner Motek would like to invite you to their free webinar on Wednesday 17th March at 2pm GMT which focuses on Perturbation training: Underlying principles and clinical evidence.
Human movement researchers from Maastricht University will host this session and present their work on the underlying principles and clinical evidence on the use of perturbations for fall prevention.
Dr. Kenneth Meijer and Dr. Chris McCrum will discuss the use of mechanical perturbations using a 6 degrees of freedom movable platform and split-belt treadmill. By manipulating the walking surface while measuring responses in terms of stepping parameters or kinematic changes, fall risk can be evaluated and targeted training protocols can be offered.
Click here to register. Can’t attend? Register anyway and you will receive the recording after the webinar ends.
