We’re thrilled to partner with Ascot Rehab at the European Neuro Convention! We will be demonstrating the Hocoma Andago body weight support system in the Live Demo Zone at:

  • Tuesday 26th March: 2pm
  • Wednesday 27th March: 11am
“Mobilising patients with the Hocoma Andago: free-moving robotic body weight support.”

See how you can mobilise patients early with Ascot Rehab and the Hocoma Andago. The Andago removes the restraints of traditional gait rehabilitation for patients and therapists, bridging the gap between treadmill therapy and free walking. Patients are fully supported in an upright position, allowing therapists to concentrate on therapy goals.

Ascot Rehab is a private impatient rehabilitation centre in Bagshot, Surrey. Ascot Rehab was rated outstanding by CQC in 2018 and is accredited by both CHKS (Checks) and CARF. They work as part of a transdisciplinary team providing rehabilitation for adults with neurological conditions, amputees, orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions. Ascot Rehab is a pioneer in robotic rehabilitation therapy and have had a trial of the Hocoma Andago over the last 6 weeks.

Demonstrating the Andago, ArmeoSpring and ArmeoSenso

Find us on Stand 113 on the show floor to see the Andago and ArmeoSenso upper limb rehabilitation device in action. We are also pleased to be adding the ArmeoSpring to the stand.

The ArmeoSpring features an adjustable exoskeleton which supports the whole arm. By providing arm weight support, the ArmeoSpring enables patients to use any remaining motor functions and encourages them to achieve a higher number of reach and grasp movements based on specific therapy goals. These activities are based on the patient’s own movements, and built-in sensors record the active movements and joint angles throughout for precise reporting.

Hocoma’s devices are suitable for rehabilitating neurological conditions, brain and spinal cord injuries, stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, movement disorders, amputees, cerebral palsy, stability training, and fall prevention, geriatric and paediatric patients, upper limb movement disorders or impairment, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, balance disorders, walking disabilities, and musculoskeletal disorders.
