Clinical trials and research

If you or family member are participating in a clinical trial of our devices, or in research by a customer using our devices, then personal data may be shared with us. This is subject to the data sharing process that is in place with the registered site that is using this equipment.

The information that we collect and store will depend on the relationship between Summit Medical and Scientific, the trial/research site, and the data sharing agreement that is in place.

We may also share this data with the manufacturer of the equipment, and use this information in marketing materials, in line with the consent process and marketing agreement that is in place with the site.
