11th Motek user group meeting at the ISB/ASB conference on August 1st

We are pleased to notify our UK Motek users that the 11th Motek user group meeting is taking place during the combined meeting of the International Society of Biomechanics and the American Society of Biomechanics. This is taking place on August 1st at the Telus Convention Centre in Calgary, Canada.

The meeting will take place in the Ideation 4 room in the conference venue from 4 – 6pm. After the meeting, Motek would like to invite you for drinks and dinner at the Marriott which is connected to the convention centre.

Professor Doctor Ton van den Bogert, faculty member at the Cleveland State University, department of Mechanical Engineering, will be speaking at the event. Prof. van den Bogert will present his recent work on the inertia compensation for instrumented treadmills with pitch and sway functionality as well as some of his other recent scientific work. There will also be an interactive workshop on the future of human movement research, so please bring along your thoughts and ideas on this topic.
