Winners announced for AMTI’s Force and Motion Foundation travel awards

We are pleased to hear that the winners for the Force and Motion Foundation travel scholarship awards have been announced. Our partner, AMTI, runs this non-profit foundation which offers up to ten $500 travel scholarships each quarter to assist students with costs for travel to scientific conferences.

The winners are:

• Danilo Catelli – University of Ottawa
• Nok-Yeung Law – University of Ottawa
• Youngwook Kim – Utah State University
• Gregory Tierney – Trinity College Ireland

About the Force and Motion Foundation

The Force and Motion Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation, fully funded by AMTI to support students in fields related to multi-axis force measurement and testing.

The Force and Motion Foundation awards educational scholarships to graduate students on a continual basis. More than $50,000 in funds have already been allocated for distribution in the coming year.

The Foundation also serves as creator and curator of the Virtual Poster Session, an international resource for information exchange and networking within the academic community.
