Event overview
The MiNT Academy is welcoming healthcare professionals, later-stage students, researchers, and anyone with interest to a Neurorehabilitation Experience at the outpatient neurological rehabilitation facility at Hobbs Rehabilitation in Bristol.
This experience is designed to introduce clinicians to real-world neurorehabilitation, providing insight into how clinical teams collaborate and how neurotechnology is integrated into everyday therapy.
During the visit, attendees will:
- Observe live neurorehabilitation sessions in a clinical setting
- Explore the role of neurotechnology in assessment and treatment
- Take part in guided discussion and reflection with practising clinicians
This is a valuable opportunity for people to bridge the gap between theory and practice, gain exposure to clinical innovation, and gain a deeper understanding of modern neurorehabilitation in action. Read more.
Learn about our rehabilitation technology

The Hobbs Rehabilitation Intensive Neurotherapy Centre are the UK Reference Centre for Summit Medical and Scientific, and have been using the Motek C-Mill VR, Hocoma Andago and Hocoma ArmeoSpring Pro since September 2024.
During the workshop, delegates can experience:
- A case study presentation with the patient in the clinic using the ArmeoSpring
- A patient using the C-Mill to showcase practical applications

“This unique neurotechnology treadmill system stands out from ordinary treadmills for several key reasons. Firstly, because it has a hardness to prevent falls, giving the patient confidence and encouragement to take the first step, and also allows us therapists to really test the limits and challenge our patients further.
Even more excitingly, the C-Mill VR can project images onto the treadmill itself, which enables us access to different rehabilitation games, a really great benefit that motivates the patient and keeps them engaged. My favourite so far is the ‘stepping stones’ game, which projects light boxes where the patients are stepping. We can then manually adjust where these light boxes are – so they can extend their stride length or narrow their base of support and even more!”
– Caroline Hardman, Specialist Neurological and Amputee Physiotherapist at Hobbs Rehabilitation, on the C-Mill VR. Read more.
