Make sure you also attend “Impact of Technology on Working Age Rehabilitation” on Tuesday 30th September at 09:45 in Room F1, where Rachael Edwards and Laura Marriott will be speaking about the technology Hobbs Rehabilitation used to support goals around returning to work including the Hocoma ArmeoSpring Pro.
About the ABLE Exoskeleton
The ABLE Exoskeleton is an overground robotic exoskeleton for neurorehabilitation in the clinical setting, actively assisting individuals with movement disorders to walk again.
So what makes the ABLE Exoskeleton unique?
- Adaptable. ABLE Exoskeleton overcomes the limits of other exoskeletons on the market with its lightweight and quick-to-adjust design
- Efficient. ABLE Exoskeleton features optimised size adjustment mechanisms, textile straps, and multiple transfer options. This saves time, and enhances therapy for patients and therapists alike.
- Sit-To-Stand. ABLE Exoskeleton allows for multiple different possibilities for performing sit-to-stand transitions, with solutions which fit various patient needs.
- Adjustable. ABLE Exoskeleton incorporates customisable gait modes, turning assistance and walking settings, evolving with every patient’s progress and needs.
- Optimised. ABLE Exoskeleton features a modular design and trunk extension for optimal support, and a wireless controller to enhance patient independence.
- Mobile. ABLE Care is the Exoskeleton’s mobile app, offering real-time feedback, session tracking, and intuitive controls.
The ABLE Exoskeleton is being used by patients for the first time in the UK as part of an exciting collaboration between Hobbs Rehabilitation and ABLE Human Motion. This is being used by clients with spinal cord injuries at level C5 to L5, and other conditions that affect movement.
