Join Motek on 14th July at 2pm (UK time) to see guest speakers from Amsterdam UMC’s Department of Rehabilitation Medicine share their comparison of the Human Body Model (HBM) with conventional gait models, and share how they developed a normative paediatric base which has been shared open-access for clinical centres using HBM.

First, Eline Flux will present the comparison of HBM kinematics with other frequently used models and the pros and cons of different models.

Secondly, Laura Oudenhoven will present how we developed a normative pediatric database, which has been shared open-access for clinical centres using HBM.

Laura will discuss how to handle different aspects when using this reference database, like treadmill versus overground walking, the effect of different walking speeds, and stride-to-stride variability.
