A recently-released study has shown that the Hocoma Erigo reduces the time on ventilator support for patients with severe acquired brain injury.

Patients also spend significantly less days in the ICU and in need of tracheostomy when in early rehabilitation, including with the Erigo, than without.

Additionally, the study has shown a shorter time to decannulation results from Erigo training plus conventional physiotherapy, compared with conventional physiotherapy alone.
